Jungle Jamboree

The Bourne Methodist Church is running a Holiday Club this summer for children ages 5 to 10. The dates are:
Monday 7th to Friday 11th August 2006
(from 10am until 12:30 pm).

This year’s programme is called “Jungle Jamboree” and centres on work done with abandoned children in South India at Bethania Home. Again this year, the programme will be full of

• bible stories
• crafts
• songs
• games
• puppet shows

which teach the children about knowing God’s love for themselves and how they can share God’s love with children in difficult situations in South India.

Parents please register in advance, if you would like your child(ren) to be part of this adventure. You may call the church office at 020 8886 8067 if you would like further details. We will phone you to confirm every child we register within a week of receiving the registration form.

We are concerned about the safety of your children!

You will want to know the following:

• This Holiday Club is registered with the Enfield Council Children’s Services.
• All activities will be fully supervised by adult helpers, all of whom will have clearance from the Criminal Records Bureau.
• All activities take place within the premises of the Bourne Methodist Church.
• First-aiders will be available at all times.
• Your child’s safety will be enhanced even further if you can arrange to walk with your child to and from the Holiday Club. Parking space is extremely limited!
